SPS Wins BEIS Industrial Fuel Switching competition to develop a hydrogen pipeline demonstrator

Sustainable Pipeline Systems Ltd (SPS) wins the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Industrial Fuel Switching competition to develop a hydrogen pipeline demonstrator. SPS is forming a hydrogen pipeline advisory panel to support the feasibility and development of new technology for hydrogen fuel supply pipelines for industrial infrastructure.

SPS has developed MASiP Pipe technology as a holistic solution for infield pipeline production, construction, installation, and digital monitoring to reduce environmental impact, schedule of pipeline production, pipeline leaks and fatigue failures. This is a fit for purpose solution for the new hydrogen pipeline transportation network required as the backbone for UK’s fuel switching plans.
